Revert "Automatic update of defaults" This reverts commit b69cf1deb2ee780d26cd158f01900ce877d11dd3. We want these manually-configured options to persist. As a workaround, revert this commit. The proper fix would be to create an unmanaged tenant [1] and confure these options there.
